Module 2

Business credit bureaus and opening a file

PLACEHOLDER LESSON. Marcus replaces this copy before anyone relies on it. A lawyer has not reviewed it. It is not for publication.

What a business credit file is

Business credit bureaus keep files on businesses. A file is not the same thing as the Readiness Check in this app, and it is not a consumer credit file.

This placeholder does not name a bureau and does not tell you to open an account. The dated lesson is not written yet.

What this module will not do

It will not promise a file, a limit, or a timeline. It will not touch the owner's consumer file. It will not send you to a lender.

When the real lesson is written, it will cite the date it was last checked.

Lesson assistant

Ask what a lesson or a checklist step says, in plain words.

This course is education. It is not legal advice, tax advice, or financial advice.

This is a course. We don't lend, and this course doesn't arrange or broker financing.

The assistant saves each question and the answer it gave, linked to your account, in this site's own database on the service's private disk. That is the same SQLite file as accounts.

Questions and answers are kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically.

You can ask for earlier deletion by emailing marcusowens@flipitbusinessloanbrokers.com.

The question text is sent to OpenAI to produce the answer. The OpenAI request is made with store:false.

Do not type payment or personal identification details into the assistant.
